Site work, masonry, and concrete create the bones of a property. Landscape planting is what finishes it — and what most people actually see when they pull into the driveway. DLI handles the planting phase the same way we handle every other phase: with our own crews, on our own schedule, coordinated with the rest of the site.

That coordination matters more than people realize. Trees planted into compacted subgrade die. Shrubs installed where drainage runs the wrong way struggle. Sod laid over poorly graded topsoil never quite catches. Because we built the grades and the drainage on the same property, we know exactly where every plant is going to thrive and where it’s going to fight.

We install specimen trees, screen plantings, foundation beds, ornamental shrubs, perennial gardens, and full turf — both sod and seed — across residential, commercial, and institutional sites. For larger projects we work from a designer’s planting plan; for smaller ones we’ll walk the property with you and put together a layout that fits the architecture and the conditions.

All plant material is sourced from established Long Island and regional nurseries, hand-selected for size, form, and health. Installation includes proper soil amendment, staking where needed, mulching, initial watering, and our standard one-year plant warranty against installation failure. We can also stay on for ongoing seasonal care if you don’t already have a maintenance crew.
